Delivery of Geological Well programmes, focussing on the well objectives at all times, ensuring fit for purpose solutions are built into well design.
Supervision of pore pressure prediction and geomechanical modelling ensuring wellbore stability issues are mitigated.

Operations Geological supervision for both offshore and onshore campaigns.

Decommissioning:

As part of the transition to greener energy I have recently retrained in planning the geological aspects of decommissioning oil and gas assets at the end of their life cycle. Skills include modelling reservoir pressure recharge, caprock integrity, shale creep, potential pressure communication pathways, hazards presented by shallow permeable zones, and planning a strategy to achieve full abandonment and eventual seabed clearance.
